Lockwood & Co - Skull Lite Brite Art
My hopes were set too high for the Netflix adaptaion.
I just crushed the eight-episode series of Lockwood & Co, my favorite book series. There are five books, and the show spans the first two.
The first three episodes covered book one, The Screaming Staircase. These were promising, even if they did alter some things.
For me, there was a lot riding on the first episode of book two, The Whispering Skull. This is my favorite book in the series. While the show hit the major milestones, they changed how the characters reached them.
They left out so much that was good in the books. And there was so much more they could have done with Skull and Flo Bones.
I hope the show inspires others to read the books.
