In 2017 I visited family in Portland, Oregon. We made a trip to Newport so I could visit the aquarium where Keiko recovered before being released into the ocean. I was hesitant to blow glass, but my aunt pushed me to do it. In the end, the paperweight I made at Oregon Coast Glassworks was my favorite physical thing I took back home.
